​Veteran Owned Charters started a few years back....some of you will recall our trip to the Bahamas on our trustee 32 foot Carver.  Rightfully name "the preview"

 

With minimal experience and even less of a plan, we had no idea what the goal was, but we were determined to chase it!

​

What we didnt know then was just how much that decision would change the entirety of our lives (and others)

​

During that trip, we learned just how healing the waters could be, how much the fresh air allowed for a deeper breath, and the sun seemed to burn away the thoughts that held our minds tethered in place.

​

There was something soothing within the sway of the swell, something that demanded attention, replacing the noise of the past.

​

It did not take long for us to reach out to those who cheered us on, and extend a welcome to join us in the unknown.  

​

Sadly, it was only the few that found their way to us. 

​

However, looking back, perhaps it was the few who needed it the most.  For from those moments, the idea of Veteran Owned Charters Inc. was born. 

Proof that our experience was not one that was unique just to us, instead begging for it to be an experience for the many.  

​

And so the dream was born or perhaps gifted to us

​

Since then, we have spent countless hours dreaming just how to take the next step.

​

Sparing you some of the details, we knew that for this dream to proceed, we would need to at a minimum upgrade the boat to a vessel that was once again sea worthy.  

​

Meet “Dare to Dream” a boat that had been in and out of possibility for a few years but never felt right.  However, this time, she seemed to be everything we needed (or at least could afford) 

​

In finding her and our new perfect spot, we now sit at the beautiful Chrysler Park Marina in the St.Lawrence surrounded by history, our doors to those who the sirens call.

​

With that said, we remain focused on our dream vessel.  One that would allow us to accommodate more individuals of varying needs. One that would allow us to expand our program to cover the winter months once again and provide an adventure of a lifetime!

We know we will get there, and for those who have followed along, we can hear you cheering for us!
